Do you want your laptop battery to last longer and your eyes to feel less tired? The easiest way is to turn on the built-in Dark Mode. It changes your bright white screen backgrounds to dark gray or black, which uses less power on modern displays.
Click the Start button and open Settings (the gear icon).
Click on Personalization.
Select Colors from the left menu.
Look for the "Choose your color" drop-down menu.
Change it from "Light" to "Dark".
Your screen will instantly turn dark, saving power and making it much easier to read at night!
