How to Pin Any Folder to the Taskbar in Windows 10 and 11

  1. Create Shortcut: Right-click on your desktop, select New, and then click Shortcut.

  2. Type Command: In the box, type explorer followed by a space and the full path to your folder (for example: explorer C:\MyFolder). Click Next and give it a name.

  3. Pin it: Right-click your new desktop shortcut and select Pin to taskbar. You can now delete the shortcut from the desktop.
