Has your Windows screen suddenly stopped responding? Don't force a hard restart yet! There is a little-known built-in keyboard shortcut designed to reset your video drivers immediately and unfreeze your computer without closing your apps.

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Windows Key + B at the same time on your keyboard.

  2. You will hear a short, distinct beep sound.

  3. The computer screen will blink once and momentarily go black.

In about 5 seconds, the video drivers will reload, and your display should come back to life, allowing you to save your work. Your frozen problem is solved!
