Adding a second monitor is the easiest way to boost your productivity. Windows makes it simple to connect and configure multiple displays. Here is how to set it up in just a few clicks.
How to Set It Up:
Connect the Monitor: Plug your second monitor into a power outlet and connect it to an available port on your PC (HDMI, DisplayPort, or USB-C). Windows should detect it automatically.
Open Display Settings: Right-click anywhere on your empty desktop and select Display settings.
Arrange Your Displays: You will see numbered boxes representing your monitors. Click and drag them to match their physical setup on your desk. Click Apply.
Choose Display Mode: Scroll down to the Multiple displays section. Click the drop-down menu and choose Extend these displays to use both screens as one large workspace. (You can also choose to duplicate them).
Your dual-monitor setup is now ready for work!
