Virtual desktops allow you to create separate spaces for different tasks, such as "Work," "Study," or "Gaming," without cluttering a single screen.

  1. Press the Windows key + Tab to open the Task View.

  2. Click New desktop at the top (or bottom) of the screen.

  3. Click on the new desktop to switch to it. It will be completely empty.

  4. Open the apps you need for a specific task on this desktop.

  5. Use the Windows key + Ctrl + Left/Right Arrow to quickly switch between your desktops.

  6. To close a desktop, open Task View and click the X on the desktop thumbnail. Your open apps will move to the previous desktop.
