If your mouse pointer moves too fast and is hard to control, or if it moves too slow and makes your hand tired, you can easily adjust its speed. You do not need any special software to fix this.
Click on the Start button in the bottom left corner of your screen and select the gear icon to open Settings.
Click on the Devices section (or "Bluetooth & devices" in Windows 11).
On the left side menu, click on Mouse.
Look for the slider labeled "Cursor speed" (or "Choose how far the mouse lines scroll").
Click and drag the slider to the left to make the mouse slower, or to the right to make it faster.
Move your mouse around immediately to test the new speed. Adjust the slider until it feels comfortable for your hand.
Your settings are saved automatically.
