If you find it difficult to read the small text on your computer screen, you do not need to lower your screen resolution. Windows has a built-in feature to make text and apps bigger and easier to read.
Right-click on an empty space on your desktop and select "Display settings".
Scroll down until you see the "Scale and layout" section.
Look for the drop-down menu under "Scale" (or "Change the size of text, apps, and other items").
Click on the menu and change it from the recommended 100% to 125% or 150%.
Your screen will immediately adjust, making all text, icons, and windows larger and much easier on your eyes.
You can always change this setting back to 100% if you feel the text is too big.
